Most of my travels are DIY. So, I do some research before the trip. Top of my search would include the ‘How to get there’. Although it’s fun to get lost from time to time, still, nothing beats a prepared traveler. 😀

I made a short guide here, on how to get to El Nido from Puerto Princesa. I hope this help you plan your next trip to El Nido.

NOTE: Vans and Buses going to El Nido are found in San Jose Terminal.

How to get to San Jose Terminal?

From Airport
Take a trike stationed outside the airport and ask the driver to take you to San Jose Terminal. The fare is usually Php120/trike, but try to use your haggling skills. You might have your luck.

From City Proper
If you’re coming from City Proper, you have two options. You can either ride a jeepney, or hire a tricycle. If you decide to take the jeepney, ride a Jeep going to San Jose Terminal. You will arrive at SJT in less than 20-minute. The fare is Php20. But if you chose to hire a tricycle, same travel time but they will charge you with Php80-100/trike.
