Stoked at Wave House Sentosa

I’m back! And I’m loaded with lots of exciting adventures to share. I don’t know if there’s anyone out there who misses me while I’m away. (wink!) I’m so sorry for leaving you hanging these past few months. You see, I have moved into a new city and got a new job. And this job I have right now demands a tremendous amount of energy. Even if I always want to update this blog, my body just doesn’t want to cooperate. At the end of the day, the only thing I want to do is just retire to my bed and catch more sleep. Except of course if there’s a chance, I’ll surely go on a new adventure. That’s a different story. 😀

Don’t worry though. I’ll try my very best to share all those adventures I had for the past few months. Let’s start off with this adventure at Wave House Sentosa. I just learned recently that Singapore isn’t that short of activities for thrill seekers. One I highly recommend for you to try whenever you find yourself here in Singapore is the Flow Rider/Flow Barrel at Wave House Sentosa. If you’re seeking the adrenaline rush of a lifetime, try this activity. By far, this is the most adrenaline-pumping activity I ever had since I came here in Singapore.

Sabang, Palawan | Mangrove Paddle Boat Tour

Mangrove Paddle boat tour in Sabang, PalawanSabang is known as the entry point for the Underground River Tour. When we went to Palawan, we weren’t able to book for the underground river tour. Since Sabang is part of our itinerary, we decided to push through with our plan. We love to explore new places, and I think Sabang is still worth our visit. I wasn’t wrong about this. People might not know this, but there are a lot of things you can do in this small town besides going on an Underground River Tour. One of these is the Mangrove Paddle Boat Tour.

Adventure Journal | Lanuza Surf Trip [Part 2]

Day 3

Cantilan is another great alternative spot for surfing. It’s a 30-minute ride from Lanuza. So far, Cantilan has the finest brown sand I have ever been to. And the view from the shore is magnificent. It gives you the feeling your in El Nido. Well, I have never been to El Nido but from the pictures I saw, it feels like it.

Surfing the Lanuza Waves

I just came back from our trip in Lanuza, Surigao del Sur, and I’m still having a Lanuza hangover. Since I get back from that short vacation, all I can think about is the experience I had. I can’t concentrate on doing something other than editing pictures and creating a video about our trip.  So, let me share a teaser about it.  Enjoy!

Summer is definitely more fun with NIVEA SUN! My top summer wonder is Malalison Island

5 Reasons
Malalison Island should be part of the 7 Summer Wonders in the Philippines

Situated in Culasi Channel off the western coast of Culasi, Antique. It is easy to see why Malalison Island is also known as the ‘Gem of Culasi Channel’. While Boracay has been the main attraction in the part of western visayas, the Malalison island retained its mysterious appeal, and left unexplored by tourists. With an area of 50 hectares, Malalison have a lot to offer to tourists and adventure travel seekers alike.

1. Adventure | For someone who seeks adventure, you can hike up to the highest hill or peak of Malalison Island for less than an hour. You can even cross your way to Nablag Islet, which is just adjacent to Malalison Cove. Not an extreme adventure but nevertheless, it still an adventure. 🙂

2. Culture | Try a native dish. They said, that the way to know the culture of a place is through their food. One of Malalison’s native dish is grilled fresh pugita/octopus. I can guarantee you, all sea food in this area are fresh.

3. Nature | Malalison has the best diving spot for divers who admire the nature underwater. Exploring the world under you is also one of the best way to appreciate nature. With Malalison’s crystal clear water, I’m pretty sure you’ll clearly see the different species living down there.

4. Sand | Malalison Island has fine white sand that can be compared to that of Boracay’s. This island have a magnificent sandbar that can be enjoyed by everyone, and also the best location for  a romantic date.

5. Sun | Summer wouldn’t be perfect without the heat of the sun. And here in Malalison Island, sun is everywhere.

So what are you waiting for? Grab your Nivea Sun block, head down to Malalison Island and enjoy your summer with the world’s no.1 sun care brand. 🙂
