Unknown to Sentosa visitors, there is a part of the island that’s preserved to tell a story of the past. Not most of the tourists who visit Singapore know about this. But if you’re one of the few, lucky you! Quite a rhyme, huh?! Kidding aside, let me entice you a little about the place. You might want to check it out the next time you visit Singapore.
Singapore is known as one of the best places to travel with family, and just this year, Lonely Planet has ranked Singapore as the world’s number one country to travel to next year. Why not? Singapore is like traveling the world without leaving the island. When I move here, I was thinking of Singapore only as a major shopping destination for shopaholics. A stopover for travelers to explore its neighboring countries—Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the list goes on. It never crossed my mind that Singapore has a lot to offer for adventure seeker who is in constant search for that off the beaten path. All you need to do is explore.
I’m back! And I’m loaded with lots of exciting adventures to share. I don’t know if there’s anyone out there who misses me while I’m away. (wink!) I’m so sorry for leaving you hanging these past few months. You see, I have moved into a new city and got a new job. And this job I have right now demands a tremendous amount of energy. Even if I always want to update this blog, my body just doesn’t want to cooperate. At the end of the day, the only thing I want to do is just retire to my bed and catch more sleep. Except of course if there’s a chance, I’ll surely go on a new adventure. That’s a different story. 😀
Don’t worry though. I’ll try my very best to share all those adventures I had for the past few months. Let’s start off with this adventure at Wave House Sentosa. I just learned recently that Singapore isn’t that short of activities for thrill seekers. One I highly recommend for you to try whenever you find yourself here in Singapore is the Flow Rider/Flow Barrel at Wave House Sentosa. If you’re seeking the adrenaline rush of a lifetime, try this activity. By far, this is the most adrenaline-pumping activity I ever had since I came here in Singapore.
Finally, I decided to take that first step towards my dream. A dream that brought me to a new city, and a new life. Although it doesn’t involved quiting a job, which what most travellers do these days. But instead, I’m going to explore the world by having a job, one country at a time.
